A/C not working, radiator and A/C fans not working
A/C not working, radiator and A/C fans not working
Our 2009's A/C stopped working and - as far as I can tell - so has the radiator fan. I don't know when the radiator fan should turn on, other than when the engine gets hot, so I could be wrong here.
I checked the following fuses: MG Clutch, Blower Motor, and Main Fan Motor. All had continuity and power at the positive end. I did not test voltage.
I checked the three relays in the engine compartment. I believe they are Radiator Fan, A/C Condenser, and A/C Clutch. The way I checked them was by removing the Radiator Fan Relay and placing it into the other two, and having my wife attempt to engage the A/C while in the car, with me having my fingers on the relays feeling for a click. The A/C does not engage at either fan speed.
My next step, I think, is to get some test wires and some spare relays. What else?
I think there’s a compressor, a condenser, and a clutch? I don’t know what those do or where they or how to tell if they’re working.

I just used a test light on the A/C Condenser Fan Relay, both with the car off and on w/ A/C on. With the A/C and engine on, when I touched one of the terminals (is that what they're called?) with the test light, the A/C Condenser Fan came on. Yet, placing one of the other relays in that position doesn't work, even with all three relays in, just in different spots.
I suppose it could be the relay? Or something else? I don't know if all three relays need to be in good condition for the A/C Condenser Fan to work.

Went to try to remove the compressor clutch switch to test for continuity but the damn connectors are so tight that I ripped off the mount that the other side is connected to, without getting them disconnected.
Clutch is not engaging with A/C on, but I don't know where the issue is - clutch itself, clutch connector, or A/C switch in the cabin.
edit: Got the connectors apart but the sockets are too small for my leads.

Welp. I think I need a new fuse box...
I tested, according to the service manual, the A/C Pressure Switch, which lead me to the A/C Clutch Switch, which lead me to the fuse box connector A. I tested terminal number 21 for battery voltage, and it was only getting 8.86 volts. This means there's either a loose connection, or a bad terminal. I confirmed that the A/C clutch is indeed working by bypassing the switch using a jumper wire.
I am beyond bummed. I don't know if I'll be able to fix this myself, as I'm pretty sure it requires a dealer code.

Did you ever figure this out?
I have a 2011 Fit and I replaced my ac compressor and all went well
BUT..
My condenser fan doesn’t work. I bought a new fan after I switched the relays to see if one was bad but they worked when swapping with the radiator fan.
Now I don’t know what to do exactly

I fixed it thanks to you man, you have that diagram you included.. I checked fuse 47 and it wasn’t even in there, and I found a 30 fuse in another spot it listed as blank and that did it.
I bought this car used and the ac was out i didn’t think someone would pull the fan fuse because of it.
Anyway, thank you!
