been gone for 6 months car wont start

Well.... I just got back from a 7 month deployment and I told my roommate to disconnect my battery while I was gone but... he never did.. so when I got back today I tried jump starting it but all i get is clicks... tried to get a new battery and no auto store had any.... so does anyone have any idea what I should do?

Thanks!

U can try letting it charge for a long time but most likely its dead.

The battery as far as I know is a dealer only item. I know, it sucks.

Is your car under warranty? My dealership explained (and pointed this out in the manual) that there's a warranty just for the battery. At the time that she showed me, it seemed like you could go for years and years without buying a battery out of pocket.

Since it's a M/T have your "buddy" give you a push start. As he pushes, play with the clutch and gas (while turning the key).

Gotta get thicker wires and jump start from a car whose engine is above idle. It will start. Doesn't take much on such a tiny motor.

either take the batt off or if you can reach it with a battery charger then just hook up a charger to it. it will take prolly take 8 hrs. good luck.
