The car has 7k miles on it and it seems to have developed a vibration/rattle from the center dashboard are when accelerating above 4k. It is initially louder and after 4k it dies down a little bit. The only other strange thing the car does, is the shifter snaps back a little bit shifting from 1st to second at 4K+ rpms. I've read threads about GE8 rattles, but nothing about vibrations coming from the center of the dash under harder acceleration. Any ideas?

me too. mine also kicks out a little going from first to second like it wasn't fully engaged or something. i hope he returns to give us some input.
