Weird Headlight Issue

inb4walloftext

So it seems as though I'm not getting any power to my passenger side low beam, but the high works fine. Power to the driver side works as usual. The strange thing is, I never had the problem before my car got hit while parked, albeit the hit was on the driver's side. Now before I go on, I do have a plug-and-play 35w HID kit (no projectors, yea yea) but I don't see any way that has an effect on this, as I used the set-up for 2 years with literally no problem at all.

Like I said, it was only after my car was hit, and I received it back from the body shop that I started to have problems. The second I picked it up, I drove away, tried to turn on my headlights and my HID's just weren't firing on. I should have turned around, but just assumed they touched the bulbs and said screw it, I planned on changing temps anyway. The next day I pop the hood, see that my ballasts aren't mounted the way I had them, and were left just sitting in the engine bay...sweet. Ironically, the HID's started working perfectly fine this same day before I even re-mounted them...so ok.

After about a month I notice that my passenger side is discolored, and basically just looks like its dying, almost flickering from certain angles. This flicker was not like a normal HID flicker at start-up either...it was something that could only be seen from inside the car with the light pointed at something. Eventually it died, and I bought a new kit just figuring the ballasts took a beating and the bulbs were old.

That did nothing, so I did finally end up bringing it back to the body shop who worked on it. Explained my problem, they had my car over a weekend and said that they couldn't find where the fault was, and couldn't do anything else for me. Just that there was no power coming out of the low-beam prong on the plug.

So what can I do? Somehow hardwire my lights to my battery? I've seen kits with relays to do so, but what I don't know is how much they utilize the stock H4 plugs. I thought that I read to install these kits, you just use one plug so the relays know when to turn on or off, but I'm not 100% sure. I've searched and searched, but am throwing in the towel and just asking here as well. Thanks dudes!

tl;dr Help me wire my headlights to my battery
