2013 Fit Timing Cover Bolt Seals

I took my 2013 Honda Fit to the dealer for maintenance today and I was told over the phone I need to replace the timing cover bolt seals because they are leaking. Anyone know where the timing cover is? Thinking of doing it myself and assessing the options. If anyone has instructions for replacing those too, please share. Thank you

Look it up on a dealer website. The sealing washers and bolts are not expensive. Perhaps they just need to be tightened a bit.

They are on the RH side of the engine.

Unless your engine is dripping oil on the ground, I'd pass on that for now. Monitor oil level.

Thank you! After I looked the bolts on the dealer site as you suggested I found them under Engine Parts ---> Chain Case. I'll tighten them up and if they still leak I'll replace them. Hopefully they are not too difficult to get to. It's the first thing really that I'll try to do with this car so trying to do my research before I attempt.

Just tighten them a little, and evenly. (Use a inch-lb torque wrench)

But look the leak over first. If it's just seeping, its the shop trying to squeeze mo' money out of you.
