WHY? BECAUSE I CAN! hahahah Why do you want to buy wheels without take measurements first? lol

I can care less about body kits, bars, seats, car audio whatever. I don't care about sporty, vip, or whatever. All that matters to me is stance and fitment. Everything in middle is just me modding until I can decide on a set of wheels. I've been looking for 2 months and I cant decide. Who knew it would be so hard.

Yikes. The offset is horrible for the latest generation of Honda Fit sadly.

So how do the D2's ride? i've been waiting for some decently priced coilovers for a while now.

They ride fairly well. Way better than what one would expect. They say you get what you pay for, but I think they're pretty good. I'm picky on my parts and I would recommend these coilovers. It's mos def a bang for your buck part - especially if you're looking to get low. There are several pieces that I'm not excited about, but this is obviously how they keep the cost low (i'm talking about the universal brake line brackets, end link mounts etc). If you're a street car, looking to get low - go get em. If you want to track (real track, not "I'm going to take my car to the track" bullshit) i'd say keep these as an option if you're on a budget - hardcore racers may want to look elsewhere for different spring rates or valving options. The biggest plus, and a big deciding factor for me - if they blow, they'll send you a replacement fast. Good luck getting a JDM strut rebuilt or replaced in a timely manner. ha!

For those of you who ask why did I go D2, the answer is simple. It's not about the money, the name, what's tried and true - whatever. I got them because they go LOW. I can probably lay frame using these coilovers. The frame was 2 fingers away from the floor before before we raised it. Also, the threaded strut mount and the adjustable perch will allow me to dial in my ride height when I finally install the bags.

The MF8s are 16's. Also the car is lower because it's a 45 series tire. I'm thinking of swapping over the stock tires. I also had to remove the inner fender liners because I was rubbing them like crazy due to the height.

They're MF8s? Nothing wrong with MF8s on a Mugen kitted car imo.

(that's me making excuses for not having access fender roller at the moment - no roll or pull for me right now)
