Baylorbro's Photo Thread
***Update on page 2***
So to start off my photo thread, I'm going to start simple with a classic badge switch and then rock your world with what might be the first GE with NOS! lol Here it goes...

Badge switch! Loving the red dot (which bigtoepfer tells me comes from the jazz 1.3L, I think)

This exoctic and rarely seen-on-a-fit system is a nitrous kit. I was very lucky when putting in this kit. The heat shield for my intake is about the only place I could easily mount the management unit. The braided lines going into the unit in the front are fuel and nitrous in, while fuel and nitrous out mix come out the back, wrap around top of the intake pipe and are tapped into the intake.

Notha angle, good shot of the spray nozzle and fuel supply to nitrous/fuel mixture.

From the top

Nice shot of the management unit mount.

Yes, those are zip ties, and yes they will be replaced with something more durable and not as "rigged". Also need to get a rubber fitting to go around the lines to keep them from vibrating at points of contact with other metal pieces.

Bottle, mounted, check. Connection line comes from spare wheel compartment, I leave the bottle disconnected while daily driving.
Hope you enjoyed. Put it in with a buddy of mine, all by ourselves. I'd say total time over the span of a few days took about 8 hours. Neither of us have done an install like this before though, so I was proud of our work. Something nice to know for GE owners, YOU CAN CHANCE SPARK PLUGS WITHOUT REMOVING ANY OF THE ASSEMBLY AT THE BASE OF THE WINSHIELD. Just need to know what you are doing so you can work blind, also helps if you have long arms. I changed out my stock plugs for the Zex cold plugs, a must if running nitrous.
If you have any questions about the install LMK!
I expect the Fast and Furious jabs. Actually, really I'd be disappointed if they didn't come, so bring it!

Well I posted this in the "what did you do to the fit today," but it's all I got for now until all of my friends leave Waco after graduation. We've been doing Waco things every chance we get.

Thanks Tex, yeah, most of it includes eating at waco joints. I've been to kitoks, viteks, dubl-r, uncle dan, lolitas, and more I'm sure in the past week alone. There's a lot of good food here. I bet you've been to some while you were at the VA.
I kind of left the grounds and went to lunch with certain staff members I was friends with as a patient and took groups of Vietnam vets off grounds as a volunteer on Saturdays in a VA van with the VA picking up the tab but to none of the nicer places....I still have a hard time believing they trusted me with patients and a signed blank government check and a 16 passenger van full of other crazy guys..... Sometimes we would just ride around and burn up a tank of gas.... The experience reminds me of "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest"
At home with pops' 2008 S2K. Recent changes include:
Rogue wrapped carbon fiber garnish with wiper delete
Smoked depos
RS badge
Back to stock wheels until I sell my enkei's
25mm spacer in the rear.

I want 6UL's for the track and something different for daily use (red slips).
EDIT: Hopefully they'll be sold by this weekend.

I have the same tails on my SSM now. Mine only light up on the top, but are plenty bright. Do yours light up on bottom and top?

Oh hell, a teaser post..... I was expecting more than that.
