Car is clean, I saw it at the UConn show a couple weeks back. Was kind of hoping to see it in Worcester last weekend, but no dice. Check out the New England subforum, we're planning a meet for July to go karting.

Yeah, sorry about the snafu on Friday. The meet has been rescheduled to this Friday since it got rained out. I was away from my computer for 2 days following last week so I couldn't update the meet thread. I owe the CT guys a few sodas for treking up last week for no reason.

Small update. Will have some tasty photoshoot pictures up soon.

Still procrastinating in putting my suspension in. One bad thing about working on cars all day is that when it comes time to wrench on your own car it gets put off a while. Did manage to install the ever-so-popular condenser protection mesh on the inside of the bumper. Had some semi-fine plastic mesh kicking around and threw it on. Also removed the center caps of my wheels as I've always loved wheels with no center caps. Otherwise, the car is scheduled to be tinted at work around next week or so. Had a few really hot days here and the car really needs it.

To be honest the A/C isn't up to my expectations. I don't know if the tint will help but on 90+ degree days I basically need to keep it on recirc and 3rd fan speed to keep up. My 04' Sentras A/C was perfect. Ah well.

Was approached by a local friend who has a set of 4x100 Enkei EVO6 wheels in 17x7 and was asked if I wanted to trade. Going to hopefully test fit them this week. I definately want bigger wheels, as even with the drop I'm waiting to do, the 15's make the wheels look tiny.

Input? Thoughts? Don't think anyone on here with a GE has EVO6's on their car.

Located outside Worcester. Just near RI border. Check out the meet thread in the New England region forum.

Enkeis mounted up 2 weeks ago and I've had nothing but compliments on them. The 17's look far better on the Fit than 15's and seem to help the car not look so tall. Won't post any pictures until my springs are in and a proper photoshoot is done.

Grrr....decided to put my T1R's in today, and everything went very well...for the most part. got the rear done first in about 40 minutes in my garage. Jacked up the front and had the passenger front in and out in about 20. Moved around to the drivers side to finish things up and got the strut out. Threw it on my spring compressor, break the top nut loose and spin it off the strut.

Sort of. The nut made is almost all the way off the strut but got caught right at the top. Held the shaft with an allen key and tried with my wrench and the thing wasn't budging. Tried to reverse it to check the threads and again no dice. Put my 3/8ths Snap-On impact on it and it started just wildly spinning the shaft. Finally grab the shaft with vice grips and make some headway. Get the nut 1/2 off and its still not moving. Tighten the vice grips and swap to my 1/2" Ingersol. The nut came off, but in doing so it stripped the threads off the strut end and cooked the strut bearing on top. Had to order a new strut, bearing and nut from Honda and hopefully the parts will be here tomorrow so I can finish this thing.

Don't know what exactly caused the nut to get misthreaded, there was no rust on the shaft and it wasn't damaged. The other side came off instantly.
So frustrated right now, considering the rest of the install was cake.

Got everything back together tonight and no issues so far. Bit of rubbing on front fender liners, but no rubbing in back. Hoping to either remove the liners for now, or trim them until I can ditch the 215/45 series tires. Spoke with numerous people with 205/40's and no one is rubbing so I'm thinking that extra 10mm in width and 5% in height is whats causing my rubbing.

Absolutely love the stance though. Comepletely transforms the car.

Can't wait, if I would suggest go with a 215 40 17 and roll your front fenders and rear.

I had problems with the nut on the strut as well. The guys at AJR had to cut it and replace the nut. A couple other GE owners had problems too apparently so you're not the only one. Updated pics would be great! Keep it up.

Any pictures with the LED's on? I was thinking about picking up a set of these, cuz I really don't like the way the other JDM tails look. Bleeeahhh.. But these look similar to the stock lights, and Im switching everything to LED one bulb at a time anyway.. Are these 100% LED? Or they half LED half filament? The upper clear part looks to be LED, and the bottom 2 lights look like they have bulbs in them.. thanks for the info!
