Mr Tyler's Black 2010 MT Sport -- 13 year update!

Current Update: 10/20/2025
Wow 13 years since my last update to this page. Where to start? A lot can happen in over a decade. Well, the Fit is still going strong at 170,000 miles. We've been through a lot of life together, got married, bought a house, had a kid, changed the stereo, bought another house, had another kid, changed the spark plugs and both clutch cylinders (still on the OG clutch), changed careers, and hauled everything you could think of in between. This car has never let me down, except that I'm on my 3rd A/C compressor. We've had a couple close calls too, I thought I was about to lose it into a concrete barrier a couple weeks ago in the wet, but we escaped, again. It's my absolute favorite thing to drive still. 5 gears of fun. Hopeful one day she'll get a new K24, and one more gear. But we'll see. For now, it'll do. The paint and trim have seen better days, too much kid crap to park in the garage anymore, and the Florida sun is brutal. For now, enjoy the updated pics through the years of life we've spent together. Here's to another 170k miles!

I even convinced my brother to get a 13 Sport!

nice, my fit badge is also placed at that exact location. I think it goes well with the plain interior.

Very nice. Great color choice too. Everytime I buy a car I swear not to get black, but something always makes me pick it anyway.

I prefer my lights all the same color. And i'm getting back at all those rednecks in their jacked up trucks who like to blind us poor souls riding low.

What kind of HIDs are those? Bright, but I like the color temp.

Good DIY for the ambients, I might have to do this one.

Those HID's look awesome, once you have a car equipped w/ HID's it's hard not to have them.

Just checked out your flickr too, nice shots! just added you as a contact

@Vanct: They're Apexcone Raptors. Found 'em here: DDM Tuning. I did notice the bulbs/housings vibrate when the running lights are on, so I have to leave my lights on constantly or they buzz. (Edit: Fixed this by pulling fuse #15!) I paid $100 for the whole shabang, fogs too.

Great pictures. You obviously know how to use a camera.
