FITEVO's Progress Thread: Watch my fit evolve...
Actually the lower the offset, the more it will bring the wheel to the fender.
You're right...I was confusing myself late last night. I'm not sure if anyone has successfully pulled off that offset on a lowered GE.
They work great!
Hey guys,
Just got back from driving around town at night, there is not a loss in visibility at all from the stock headlight bulbs. Still can see oncoming traffic too.
Here are just pics I took with my phone:

BTW pics would be nice...I'd like to see 10" width with 0 offset on a Fit. What size tire are you running? TBH, I really don't see the point of 10" wide wheels if you're not boosted...I'd say from my own autoX experience that the Fit is more power limited than it is traction limited (although LSD would be a nice mod).
Alright I think I'm going to place an order for my BuddyClub N+ and RPF1s pretty soon here. I'm thinking about taking the risk and trying to fit a 16x7.0 ET35mm on it. I think I can pull it off with some fender roll, stretched tires, and negative camber. What do you guys think?
I think you could easily pull it off with just fender rolling...maybe slight pulling in the front. I think the rears will come out perfect with no rolling necessary. It's only 7 mm difference b/w these and ET42.
I was thinking about going +35mm in the rear while going +43 in the front. What tires should I go with? 205/45/16?
Personally, I'd recommend going with a 50 series sidewall whether it be 205 or 195/50/16...this will fill out the wheel wells as well as provide some cushion on rough roads. The Fit has a stiff chassis and stiff lowering springs bring out all the bumps in the road. IMHO, 205 tread width really isn't going to do much but add weight and rolling resistance. The Fit only puts down around 95 whp in stock trim...anything you can do to offload the engine will result in a more enjoyable ride.
The staggered wheel set up is going to be a PITA when you need to start rotating your tires.

205/50/16s or 195/50/16s (the 195s are not plentiful.)
You could do the low profile 16s if slammed, otherwise I think it looks a little bit odd. With our highway gearing, I'd be shooting for larger rolling diameter anyways. For all out performance, the weight difference is actually pretty significant with a shorter tire due to there simply being more weight farther away from the axis with a taller tire, so that is all something to be considered.
I saw a JDM fit that was sl-am-med on lightweight low-pro 15s and it was incredible looking Seeing if I can dig up the photo. Need to start saving these when I run across them.
