this will be the first ge ive seen with 6uls. going to be very nice. sense you already spent the money on nice wheels, go ahead and get your wheels and tires "road forced balance" when they ask "is there a problem you are trying to fix?" tell them no, you just want it done. It is very imperative to you. Its not by any means a MUST, but I had it done ever sense ive got my first set of 6uls and the ride is awesome. before, my car would vibrate at about 100mph. this helped cure all of that. and yes, i do use the 949 racing hub centric rings for honda.

There is actually one other ge I just saw with these wheels on another thread:

And its funny you say that because I was planning on getting them road forced balanced anyway haha

Wait. What is road force balanced? Is that a step above regular balancing?

The balancing machine has a wheel that applies the force of the road against the wheel to get a more realistic sense of where the wheel is out of balance and by how much. Been around for a few years.

I hate to sound like every other douche-tool on this forum that doesn't know about wheels... But could i ask you to take a picture of the clearance between the outer face of your 949s and the fender in the front? I'm trying something experimental with my autox setup using a set of 949s in reverse stagger fitment.
Before i "add to cart" i'd like a reference pic of your 949s. Fun fact, the 15x7.5 +42s poke out NO MORE than the 15x7 +36s. The extra .5" is added on the inside. So, your pic of your 15x7s will also reflact the placement of the outer rim face on the 15x7.5s

Thx in advance!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it would poke out 0.35mm. Haha not a big difference, but a difference nonetheless.

yeah that is no problem man, I will try to take a picture today. if your wondering if it will rub, without any fender mods, it will on fast tight turns or really hard bumps, unless maybe you have really stiff spring rates which considering im stock, I don't.

lol the offset calculator says "SAME"... but nice maths!
Good news is, my eyes aren't that good to spot .35mm difference!

I'm not concerned with rubbing on your setup, as it's nothing similar with mine. My tire will be different, my suspension is different, my alignment is different. I just wanted a reference point before i pull the trigger and "Add to Cart"

I'm on bilstein coilovers, cusco front sway bar, and about -.5* camber. I'm going to dial in another -1* or so for grip and clearance sake The inside edge of my Kumho track tires still have the nipples from the molding... and they're almost to the wear bars at the center/outer edge

Thanks again though, this will be a big help. And i promise to keep you posted if i do the setup, and accredit your help once i make a "showoff" thread like yours
