Arrow Lots of cussing then....a lowered Fit :)

Read all the threads saying "dont let the axles fall out, so I went and let the driver's side fall...spent more than 6 hours trying to get it back in and eventually just opened the boot, went right in afterwards. It was a piece of cake afterwards on the other 3 wheels. On to the pics!

Looks good!
the same thing happened to me when i lowered mine,
i accidently let the axel fall out and it took forever to get back into place,
but it all turned out for the best
and i love the look of my car now

It's not stock lol, the gto. 402 with an f1 procharger @ 11psi I think he said. Over 700 to the wheels.

Went with the Eibach Prokit.

I think it is a right of passage - so many people have had that same issue but it was well worth the effort because it looks so good. I still want to lower mine but just don't know if I am willing to since I live in WV and the roads are pretty bad.

Yeah I feel strangely closer to the car lol, more like I did with my previous which I worked on all the time. Lowering definitely changes the car, and if you value your car at all, you pay a lot more attention to where you are on the road and what is coming as well.

how is your wheel and tire set up working for you? are your fronts rubbing at all? all the rims i want are 15 or 16x7, and all with 40 offset. and i want a 195/50 series tire. people are telling me i'm gonna rub, but i need to know before i drop the cash. lol.

No rubbing at all, it probably would if the car was loaded down but none right now, if it has, I've not felt or heard it. If i went much or any lower though, I'm sure it would.

How far do they lower it? Prokit is 1.2 front 1.4 rear.

No not me. Thanks for the specs. Are you getting any rubbing with the +40 offset?
