Hey just noticed your tail lights; pretty cool how the red wraps around. How did you do that? Very nice and clean Fit. I like the wheels too, keep it up!

1- order a sheet of red transparent vinyl (i think it was like $25 off ebay)
2- wrap the upper half of the tail light in the vinyl *some of the tail light gets pretty curvy so be patient with it*
3- i just used a new box cutter blade (they HAVE to be sharp) and cut out the shape i wanted. it looked a little odd with just the reverse light done so i did the turn signal also.

it was really easy to do, just be sure you're steady when you cutout the signal/reverse light, or else the edges will be jagged/crooked.

Your tail lights suddenly remind me of the 8th and 9th gen civic. What you did is cool and unique though.

I've thought about doing a straight pipe. Any videos of how the exhaust sounds?

no where close. it's honestly still pretty quiet, i dont know how people stand how quiet an actual axle back would be. it sounds pretty much exactly like this:
Honda Fit Exhaust w/ K&N CAI but no muffler - YouTube
just a lot cleaner since there's still a pipe there. i'll get a sound clip soon.

yup, just cut it myself. i might make a template and sell a few sets on here since i have a bunch of smoked vinyl left over.

probably not anymore, i like how the smoked side markers look against the chrome housing.

cool. i've seen that vid and think it sounds great, might take off my muffler sometime this week and seriously consider a straight pipe. i like the vinyl over the side markers too. i painted my headlight housings but it would be nice to smoke just the side markers. get rid of that bright orange but they'd still do a decent job at reflecting.
