My new daily GE8... Stayed stock for a whole week!

You know you're off to a bad start to keeping your daily simple when you buy coilovers before you buy the car, haha, it's a disease. I picked up my fit about 3 weeks ago to replace my accord I just sold:

I also own this, my previous daily until I picked up the accord:

Size: 117.6 KB

And I'm building this bad boy for weekend fun:

Size: 168.9 KB

Anyways, on to the fit... Before I went to pick up the car I headed over to Stance and picked up a set of GD coilovers that they trimmed down to fit the GE. I cranked them all the way down and threw them on (still have collars to remove once I get wheels):

Having seen pictures of the mugen front and rear lips, I knew I had to have them, so I went ahead and ordered them right after I got the coilovers on.

I'm hoping I'll be able to keep myself from doing anything else to the outside of the car, but I did order a little something more yesterday. In any case, here's how the car sits for now.

More to come soon.

Welcome to the GE8 family. I have long admired your IS300, seen it pop up all over the web in many stages of its life! The BMW looks insane, can't wait to see t finished. Also looking forward to what you do with the Fit! What coilovers are you running?

Yes, you know you are already in trouble when your ordering car parts before the car is even sitting in your drive way. Great looking Fit!

You still drop into Tucson?

It is I... I'm not sure on the retail of the stance kit, I bought a set that they had laying around for test fitting purposes at a small discount. They said it was literally 5 minutes of work to modify them though, so I dunno that they'd really charge much for that.

I'd be down for a meet, I have 3 buddies with cool GD's that I'm sure would come out.

The wheels on the bmw are 15's, otherwise I'd probably try them out.

That's how it usually goes for me... At least with the bmw I waited two weeks after getting the car to buy suspension and wheels.

I do remember you, you had the red civic right?

My parents live in Tucson, so I still come out 1-2 times a year.

15's are too small for a GE... The stock 16's look too small on this thing.

very true 16s are too small especially when aftermarket

17s tho dont allow for much of an agressive fitment considering camber can not be adjusted in the rears
