My take on the changes:

• Front - No opinion either way. If the grill has been strengthened to reduce the odds of accidental damage to the AC condenser, then that's great.
• Black headlight housing - I think this is a mixed bag. It looked great on some colors and so-so on others. I could have gone with either.
• Wheels - Fine with me.
• Ambient lighting - Good change.
• Single-color audio and hvac facia - I actually liked this.
• Chrome bezels - These look nice but I don't like having anything that might reflect any bright lights into my eyes. No choice I guess.
• Seat fabrics - Okay.
• Steering wheel controls - Good change.

The more notable change that made me consider the 2012 is what can't be seen: the road-noise sound dampening. It's good that Honda listened to customer feedback on this.

 

According to the Honda press release, they increased sound insulation.

 

i too prefer the 09-11 bumpers. i do like the blacked out headlights, ambient lighting, audio controls (things i wished my 09 had). everything else, especially the wheels and the interior refresh i do not like.

 

I love the controllers on the steering wheel I don't have that on PR the cars do not came whit navigation system
The wheels I said that all wheel of the fit are best one right now in honda.

Im just gonna throw this out there. GD is still the sexiest fit body ever made......

 

I'm just going to throw this over your throw, the JDM GE without Barbara up front like the USDM GE is sexier.

It looks like the USDM model GE just received a bunch of leftover RS headlights since the JDM model has reshaped headlights, bumper and front fenders when it had its MMC.

 

^^^Jdm model is always win. Cant argue with that.

JDM GE looks way better than this.

 

That new orange looks sexy on the website. I'd have to see it in person, but if it looks like that then I'm sold!

 

That orange and teal are really cool looking...i may swap my headlights for these new ones or bake mine apart and color match the chrome that they are now(would be hottt haha)

 

well i guess the only thing i like is the wheel mounted audio, but i already have that mod =P so... pretty much no hard feelings there. also the front end would of dissappointed me seeing as how my JDP lip probably wouldn't fit that, and i would hate to part with it.

 

All the changes made didn't matter here. Our 08's been great in every way.

 

probably wouldn't matter to you all that much cause yours isn't even a GE. so it would be like your comparing 2 different vehicles. on a side note i wonder if they added the intermit wiper stalk yet?

Wife drives an 08'. Much dustier than this 2 day old fit.

 

i like the headlights. and the BRM looks really cool.
steering wheel controls are a plus.
dont like the fogs or the new bumper.
wheels are ehhh..
not an improvement...not a downgrade.
