I LOVE my Fit!
I LOVE my Fit!
Hey guys, I recently wrecked my 09 Cube, which I loved. I rear ended a truck (at a freaking green light) going about 15 mph. It was my fault, yada yada yada. I was originally looking into getting a truck, but being a college student that commutes 50+ miles a day, I can't afford that. So I decided to get back to my roots, Honda! Once I realized I couldn't afford the gas of a truck, I had my heart set on getting a Fit, I've loved them since they came to the states. After looking at a few, I found this one, a SSM 2010 Sport with 46k miles and the option that I HAD to have, 5 SPEED transmission! I've been stuck in automatic transmissions since 2007, and i can't tell you how much I'm enjoying driving this car. It feels so great to finally be DRIVING again and not just riding in a automatic.
I do plan on lowering it and putting some rims on it, but my budget is extremely tight, so it likely won't be happening any time soon. Regardless, this car is a blast stock.
Enough of my jabbering, here's a few pics I took from the day after I brought her home

My daughter loves it too! She says it's so soft and loves the color, lol.

RIP to the cubeski.

Will definitely take recommendations on budget upgrades! Love the forums!

Again, welcome to the forum!
So far some of the common things I've seen done that are somewhat budget friendly are Swift Springs, Progress Rear Anti-Roll bar, an Electronic Throttle Body controller, and a short throw shifter.

yah +1 to the swift springs hootie mentioned.
i run them too on my '12, very nice feel. not too low too so you can do your daily tasks without worrying about scraping. swift did a real nice job on these springs.
