Hey all, some of you may or may not remember me, I was around last year briefly. I placed an order to have a new Fit delivered from the factory, and they ordered the wrong color.. >_>

So after getting my deposit back, vowing never to go to that dealership again, and waiting 14 months, I'm here to share my Fit (BRM, MT) that I just picked up. I finally found one in the transmission/color that I wanted. The sales rep at the dealership had to travel 95 miles to pick it up.

Congrats on your car purchase. Most people would not have the patience to wait that long to get a vehicle. I ran in the same problem as far as getting a manual transmission. At the time Honda was limiting imports of the Fit because of the exchange so I had to list 5 colors I would accept. I ended up with red my last choice on the list. But the red has really grown on me over the year.

Congrats on finding the right color, I've seen countless threads where people settled for a color because one dealer didn't have the color they really wanted. I'll never understand that.

I never understood that either. "We dont have it in that color but we have it in this color, and its cheaper too." Lol
