braces will only be truly effective once suspension is replaced with good quality aftermarket.

I however, do own the rear shock tower brace and I noticed a difference. Mostly because it mounts directly to the shocks themselves.

a Rear sway bar will get a bit of necessity for braces.

Rear sway is good stuff.....highly recommend

if I have the money i would do the front too!!

as for the rest of the brace do I feel any difference?
yes and no
basically it just stiffen your chassis don't think they will help with handling...(correct me if I am wrong)

Since I am running Apexi coilovers using the hardest settings
i am guessing without those brace my car might just fall apart!!! hahaha

I am still saving $$ for the Cusco front and rear upper bar and also front sway bar!!!

and of course wheels and tires

oh one more thing....it looks cool hahahah

all these ladder bars that are being designed are getting rather ridiculous. Due to the hatch design a simple solid x bar running through the car will stiffen up far more than braces under the unibody. (thinking in terms of leverage at least)

do you seem to scrape the ground more often now than you did prior to install?

the GE8 is pretty stiff. only instances where you see a difference is with soft cars. on cars that are already stiff like the STI and EVO, there was no improvement in lap times with these braces.

GE8 isnt that stiff. Its definitely stiffer then the GD platform it replaced, but overall still a soft car.

Nothing a big rear X brace and coilover magic cant fix!

Do you happen to know how much each brace weighs?

Just curious how much weight was added.

I was just curious.

If it takes 50-60 lbs of metal braces/hardware to corner better would you be close to where you started because your heavier and acceleration is less out of the corners with a now heavier vehicle?

Modifications often come with a trade somewhere.

Im wondering if yo have noticed the handling getting better as you have added the bars over time? Would you recommend all of them? Have you ever taken any off and tested with just some of them on? Which one seemed to have the best improvement?

the rear sway is the heaviest!

i think you will not feel any difference in handling with only installing the brace!!

i think is kinda like a combo thingy!! coilover plus braces

if u install the rear sway u will definitely feel the different!!

correct me if i wrong guys

If you buy and install every available brace and sway bar, you will be UNDER 25 pounds added.

dunno where you got that 50-60 punds.

Though such a number is possible if you create a rollcage.

But then the added safety and stiffness FAR outweights the negatives of added weight!!

The 50-60 lbs was a wild guess since I have never handled the bars and wasnt sure how thick they were. The 25 lbs isnt that much. Sounds like its worth it.
