Talking New wheels... XXR 530

Well, here I am three weeks after owning the car. Just got some gold xxr wheels, Spoon lug nuts, and newly released Hankook V2 tires. Yes, I know it's 4x4 status right now. But, I'll be lowering it tomorrow on some Eibach Pro Kit springs. I guess you'll just have to check in again tomorrow. Till then, here are some sh!tty iphone pics...

Spoon lug nuts on XXR's?

Why'd you spend as much for the lug nuts as the wheel/tire combo?

haahahah I know what you mean. I thought the same thing as well. Had the lugs sitting around for 8 years. Brand spankin new and never owned one Honda till now. It's what happens when your friend's flake on you when they tell you to buy something for them....

I can, but don't want to. The caps that came with it are super fugz. I'll buy some other caps if I feel like it.

Yeah, a little bit of rubbing. On dips/potholes on the freeway and high load on a turn. It's very little, but bugs the crap out of me. I'll be taking care of that rubbing issue hopefully this weekend

Oh ok gotcha! It would bug the crap out of me too. I'm lowered on Eibachs too and im just hesitant on pulling the trigger on buying new 17' wheels and new tires because I dont want to spend all that cash and rub like crazy. Which aspect of your wheel/tire combination do you think is causing you to rub? Is it the "7.5" and "+35 offset" factor thats causing it do you think or is it the "205" tire factor? Any thoughts or advice is appreciated. How are you thinking about solving the rubbing?

Woops, I meant to put 17x7, not 17x7.5. It's both the offset and tire size that are making it rub. I'll probably have the fenders rolled. Maybe a pull if needed. I swear it rubbed fender today cuz it was only rubbing the liner the other days. These Eibach's look like they lower in the front more than what's advertised cuz the drop was a lot. That's what I get for cheaping out and getting springs though haha

Man that looks good!!! I've always liked gold wheels on white cars.As soon as I saw the specs on your wheel/tire combo I was waiting to see if you had any rubbing issues.

Thats good that it's not much and you should be able to fix it.I like the look of 17's on the GE8 and if they are not that much heavier then the stock 16's they should not hurt acceleration that much.

It's a good thing you did not get sportline or any other springs with a more aggressive drop then the pro kit.

I was trying to go for a rally car kind of look, but there was either a wait time or out of stock for most of the wheels I wanted. Too bad there's no decent looking widebody kit for this car or else I would have went that route. Then again, I would have to spend a lot of money and it would make me broke haha

That's a great looking Fit you have there (And Subaru). I'm a Subaholic myself but have been gravitating to other makes over the last several years. I still have my Outback Sport though. I'm Kevin Thomas over at NASIOC if you get around there. I moderate there but haven't been there much since I've been there forever (Since it started, site crashed and restarted). Member number #110.
