Updates coming shortly...waiting to get time to get the suspension/lower arm bar/visors on..also now waiting on the EBC brakes...

For those in doubt if the Cusco v1 lower arm bar will fit...photo above proves that wrong. It does rub on the motor mount, but, it fits.

Since it rub on the motormount, will it make noise when you drive the car?
will it interfere with the engine mount free play?
If it did not create any problem then I would want to buy this Cusco Version 1 too
because I just bought the Version 2 few days ago.

I was planning to either buy the T1R lower arm brace or the Ultra Racing lower arm brace (similar to the Cusco Version 1), because both the T1R and Ultra Racing model clear the engine mount,
but T1R is always out of stock, while UltraRacing have white color finish,that is why I prefer the Cusco Version 1 so it match my upcoming Cusco Version 2.

To answer your questions:

1) Yes, it makes noise, it creaks kind of, hard to describe, not really annoying to me even daily driving the car.

2) No, it doesn't interfere with the mount in anyway, it is not pressing up against it too hard, the mount moves on the bar creating the 'creaking' noise.

I read elsewhere that it wouldn't fit at all, but, for $50 bucks I had to find out for myself if it was true or not. With some maneuvering.. I got it to line up and bolt in.

Nice rotor! How much does it weigh? Is it lighter than the stock rotors? If so, how much?

 

Didn't get that information. But, just in handling these vs. stock they felt lighter.

hey man, i installed my cusco v1 lower arm bar today. damn thing creaks everytime the engine moves on low speed. how is yours doing?

 

Mine does the same. Just got used to it already.
