I installed the HONDA Center Armrest Console and no longer need the stock armrest that my car came installed with. Pretty easy install. Great add on for the base models out there that don't even come with this!

Yes this is the seat armrest, i am unsure if this can be installed on gd's but this is mainly for those with base models that it diddnt come with for something simple.

 

I was under the impression that the base Fit seat doesn't have the holes to mount the driver's armrest.

 

hmm...now i don't know. I thought they are the same seats... maybe the fabric just isnt cut? IDK, can we have a base owner chime in?

 

So the console looks good, and I'm thinking about getting one, but what can it actually hold?

i usually put my wallet, phone, ezpass, sunglasses. i diddnt get it for the storage tho, i needed an armrest my elbow could actually use and since it slides, its perfect. Im a big guy and the stock one just diddnt cut it.

 

I'll agree with that. I've put a few things in mine, but primarily it holds my elbow. The center console armrest really is the must have accessory for this car.
