WEAPON-R HEADER/DOWNPIPE: $225 SHIPPED! (cont. US)

Well, I originally thought I was going to end up using the WR header/downpipe to fabricate a turbo header. However, I was able to fabricate one out of an r18 turbo header instead and had a downpipe made at my favorite exhaust shop. So now, with the turbo up and running, I have a perfectly good WR header/cat delete/downpipe going to waste. I felt a real difference in power with it, that made me believe WRs claim of 7-8 hp. If you look at the stock resonated cat, it is extremely restrictive, as it should be to achieve ULEV standards. However, there is power to be made here and that comes first.

I think in the end, the sound grew on me, especially when I finally heard it from the outside while my girlfriend drove and it did not sound ricey at all.


compared to the stock pipe it is much less restrictive.

i have a couple questions, did this throw a cel off at any time?

When you referred to a buzzy/raspiness, what pipes was that from? (full stock exhaust, reson delete, stock muff or just muff delete?

 

You will get a cel for catalyst efficency if you don't use the spark plug non fouler trick or get an o2 sim. No sound clips nor ability to make them

buzz was from 3k-4k on stock pipes.

Congrats on the fast sale. I have a question about this product in general. Is there a change in pipe diameter between the two? Did you measure the stock "header's?"
