GI: core exchange program for Retrofitting?

You buy the completed headlights for an amount plus a core exchange deposit. Return your stock lights to me. I inspect them and refund the deposit. Any interest?

Projectors/shrouds/options would be fully customizeable.

So after you finish the retro, you send us the retro headlight. And in exchange we send you the oem headlight ?

Not a bad idea

Exactly correct. There would be no downtime for the buyer this way.

I won't disclose the actual pricing quite yet but it will be very competitive to others.

Completely understandable and I respect that. I was just going to buy the mini kits and do it myself but this is tempting.

I was also about to do this retrofit in Jan, 2012 by myself. If the price is right, I'd go for this.

That setup would be substantially more than a general Mini D2S / Mini H1 install. The projectors alone are $325 and the LEDs $100 more. Then ballasts, bulbs, harness, etc.

It will be rather affordable. I'm doing a D2S retro into a GE headlight Sunday.

I'd also like a PM when pricing is available. FX35 projectors with (I'm undecided) whatever shroud.

I'm in the same boat... exactly the same set up. But, after seeing that thread on the LS460's w/led rings I'm thinking of going all out and getting that done.

very, very interested.
