I just realized in the picture of the headlights, the headlight that has the bowl still in it, if you look at the bowl it is rotated 90-degrees in relation to the housing... I must've been tired. All good now. Just some small painting and I'll reassemble and ship 'em out.

Labor pricing would likely be as follows:

Mini H1 / Mini D2S w/o painting - $200
Mini H1 / Mini D2S w/ painting - $275
FX-R w/o painting - $350
FX-R w/ painting - $400

Deposit on lights - $300

and then it would go up higher for more extreme projectors, such as an LS460, Q45, etc.

So let me get this straight. $300 for deposit plus the actual projector?

So if I want the FX-R without painting, its $300 + $350?

It's labor ($350) + projector kit ($315+) + deposit ($300). The deposit would be refunded when you return your mint stock lights for the next person to buy in good shape.

After doing my own retrofit over the weekend, I'd say thats a very fair price. This is not an easy task and at some points you just want to kick your oven, lights, projector, kid... what ever is close by and scream "EFF IT ALL TO HELL!!" Then you realize you cut some pieces off that were needed for the halogens because you got frustrated with trying to get to tiny screws with your massive hands so you have to finish it and you just crumple into a fetal position and start gently sobbing while your dog pisses on your exposed back.....

Andrew can you please do my next retro?!?!

Ahh ok gotcha. Need to save up then. Also, do you have any pics of the different kinds of projectors you have available or have done?

The worst part is, I just got a nice little check from LSU. I'm already thinking about what I could use it on.... My savings account hates me right now..

Of course! I say we step up to TL/ZKW-R, FX-R, EvoX-R, or LS460 though.

EvoX-R is what my eye is on. Those high beams are delicious.

Let's do it up. Which shroud would you go with? MC-R backed by LEDs?

I'm not sure if I like the MC-R in the Fit headlight. I'll have to look at it some more. Maybe a Matte black GG 2.0

You know, After spending the past two hours on HIDplanet. I think I may order a second set of Headlights and take a month or two to do a custom retrofit now that i've gotten a basic idea of how to mount them and what not. Oh goodness... My wallet hates me.. And so do my non-car tech friends. lol

ZKW-R are clear lenses. Which projectors would you be going with?
