^^^ As far as lowering springs for the GE go, I think the Eibachs look the best...

Shu 08-22-2013 01:13 AM

How is the ride with the sportlines?

Ride is not too bad. My girlfriend has not complained and says it feels similar to stock :D (unless I drive really fast over really bumpy roads, and this is her in the back seat). I definitely feel more imperfections in the road, but even when I was on stock springs I still felt harsh road conditions and avoided them as much as possible. Today I was in my friend's stock 09 GE and it felt similar to my current set up. IMHO I like them, I like the drop and it feels more grounded/planted (looks like it should, and drives more like a car not a boat :P). It is not bouncy if that's what you're worried about. It really depends on your personal preference. I hope this helps

Gonna take it to the track tomorrow, will let you know how it feels :vtec:
P.S. I also have a progress RSB and stock shocks and struts.

might as well add my setup for people to reference:

Tanabe df210's on 16x7 ssr type-f's (+42) front & (+37) rear after 5mm spacer & 185-50-16 tires (all around)

i regularly have 4 people in my car for long trips and i never end up scraping. Great daily driver friendly option for those of you who are not looking to slam your car but want to improve on the fit's handling and appearance.

looking dope.. Where did you find 185-50-16 tires from???

Regdog77 08-23-2013 01:30 PM

Anybody running 18x7.5 +42 offset with df210 springs. Been searching and it seems that people who have 18" have coilovers.

Thanks for the feedback. Where did you pick up your set? I understand they've been discontinued.

That's what I've heard too. That they would have them advertised but when you ordered, said that they were out of stock/discontinued. I actually got mine new off a guy on ff who didn't want them.

You try these yet?

SBC GOTDAMN. Looks hot. VG Sharkfin?

lowkeymods 09-12-2013 09:43 PM

SBC and random ebay sharkfin before they got hot...Hard to say, I bought the first reasonable thing that was color matched.

MEATBABY 09-12-2013 09:47 PM

Cool. Was it expensive? Cuz if it wasn't then it's not VG. No clue why they're so expensive, except for what you said - they're popular now. Does it actually have a wire antenna inside that screws onto your oem threads?

lowkeymods 09-12-2013 10:19 PM

Yeah, that's the one. Idk...$60-80, back in 2010.

MEATBABY 09-12-2013 11:53 PM

Ok yeah that's probably VG then. I guess it's not THAT much considering it's paint matched...just seems high to me for a freakin piece of plastic and a wire. But it works so well on your car with the very minimal (tasteful) mods. Got that oem+ look down for sure.

Regdog77 09-13-2013 12:25 AM

Holy fawk. That shit looks hawt. I think I found my next wheel.

singhonwheels 09-14-2013 07:00 AM

TEINS here i come

hi guys.. so its been 3 weeks riding on with my tein s techs on my fit.
i would like to thank all freaks who answered my queries.
ride quality is good, handling has improved drastically,
the front front wheel fender gap however is more than the rear IMO.
but overall i am more than satisfied with teins.
also got ingalls camber bolts.
special thanks to chris@redshiftmotorsports for the parts :thumbups:

here are some pics- sorry for the bad quality, i lost my cam in a car meet:(
