I also contacted Bilstein usa last week and they infact told me they had successfully test fitted the European coilover system on a USDM fit! He told me they had a few sets in stock! I contacted a distributor that they recommended and they told me the b14 kit shipped would be around $1,157.00! I also found another kit that lowers the car between 25mm-60mm! I am waiting for a response back to see if the 25mm-60mm kit is available here in the states! The coilovers also come with a lifetime warranty!

 

I'm not looking to lower the car for a cosmetic gain! The car doesn't have to be on the ground to handle well! I want to upgrade the shocks to match the stiffer springs and when putting the lowering springs on, the stock shocks are not really all that stiff! I could go buy the megan racing or function and form coilovers that allow you to preload the spring but I trust Bilstein more since they have been in the suspension game alot longer and some oem cars come equipped with Bilsteins! I don't mind not having the option to preload the springs either!

 

So what did u ever end up getting ?

 

Go for Bilstein B14 PSS... Those are serious stuff made for the GE8...
