I may have read somewhere that the front strut bar on a GE8 is not worth it because of the placement of the bar is not central to the center of the strut. Can someone confirm this? I was thinking about getting one, but I'm not sure.

 

I know there is an issue with the mount near the windshield but I don't recall exactly.

 

people say its not worth it on a fit because the strut is next to the firewall, which is already reinforced

 

I see no benefit to a STB on the GE (other than bling). The strut mounts are already pretty much on the firewall.

This is assuming a daily driver and weekend autox toy.
