Too much camber for daily driver?

What is the consensus on how much camber is too much camber for a daily driver. 0 degrees would probably be preferred and i know that toe is the major contributor in tire wear. I currently have -.5 degrees for my front and i'm looking at installing some oem camber bolts that would give me an additional 1.5-1.7 neg camber (according to this thread https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...dations-2.html ) As a result, I would be running about neg 2-2.2 neg camber in the front.

My question is that would this about of negative camber be too excessive for a daily driver? Also, should i look into adjustable camber bolts with lobes instead of oem camber bolts with a thinner diameter?

I daily drive with -2.4 of camber up front. Thankfully without the need for any camber bolts. No issues with tire wear and I even have a slight bit of toe out up front because I like a car that really handles well.

0 is not preferred really unless you never plan on doing anything but a straight line, but that is impossible as you will always have to make a turn.

i ended up getting a max of -1.6-1.5 in the front using ingalls bolts. I was hoping for a bit more, but this should suffice since i don't rub anymore.

Toe, not camber, kills tires.

If you go to extremes with camber it will be a problem, but I think anything less 3 degrees would be fine for a daily.

I'm crossing my fingers that my bolts will let me get at 2* negative.

I ran -1.5 on my old Evo X with no issues. Probably going to the same with my GE.

You're going to be disappointed when you find out you can't get any camber out of the rears unless you cut and reweld the axle..

**edit, realized you have a 1st gen, my mistake. this was posted in the 2nd gen area. and two years ago. whoops.
