Spoon Front Sway Bar
#22
Before you get this, know it was designed basically for the CR-Z as it comes with a 16mm bar. This bar is, if I remember correctly, about 1mm thicker than the stock GE bar, so you are not really going to notice a difference. Spoon will sell you one though if you so desire.
For those of you saying your Fit understeers greatly, you may want to pick up the stock CR-Z bar. My Fit is very neutral in handling with no additional rear bar, but front subframe support and mid-chassis under bars coupled with the sussy itself.

I just installed my cusco front sway bar and it's 2mm bigger then stock when I measured. When you have them both on the ground you can see the difference and once installed you can feel it too. The car is really responsive with the new sway bar on.

I really like to see if front sway bar's really gonna sharpen up the turn ins. I personally don't like racey stiff suspension or lower my car too much to reduce body roll. Yea my car may have less body roll that way but I totally sacrifice comfort for daily driving & stability around bumpy road courses.

If anyone getting a new fsb, get the spoon one its cheaper and its the same size as the Cusco one. Also its a p.I.t.a to install. I think it makes the fit handle a little better, but I have yet really tested it out since its on my wifes car that I don't drive that much.

If you don't mind,
could you please tell me where did you do the installation?
I am planning to buy this Spoon Front Sway Bar,
and I had ask my Honda Dealer, and they refuse to install after market sway bar...
so if you have a good place/shop that already had experience install this Spoon Front Sway bar, please kindly let me know.
and how much did you pay for the installation cost?
Also where did you buy this Spoon sway from?
Thanks

I got the bar installed at Autowave in Huntington Beach. They service my NSX. It was $200-something to install... but I was the guinea pig, so who knows if they is the going rate or not.
I got the bar at GoTuning in Orange.

no problem. yeah they said they don't stock much for the Fit because Fit owners don't spend money... but CRZ owners do spend money, which is why they have plenty of these sway bars in stock. hopefully, we buy all their swaybars and tell em its for a FIT so they change their mind and stock more stuff for us. they are official US distributors for SPOON and J's Racing, yet they barely have anything for the FIT.

wow, that is even better, cause I had been emailing J's Racing USA email,
asking the size of J's Racing master cylinder for JDM RS but so far no response (only read receipt).
I will ask go tuning when I go there...
Also, I now remember that I once visit Go Tuning website cause I was looking for pricing on Recaro SR-7, but somehow I missed that they also sell spoon too...
Thanks again for another great info about J's Racing from you

There is always JapanParts.com and other company in Japan specializing as middle man to buy everything, even directly to J's Racing in Japan,
or I could bother my old friend in Japan again, but only if I have to
