advice needed on offset!

Im in the market of picking up cheap rims... i am looking at rota d2's (work/ssr reps) 17x7.5 up front and 17x8.5 in the rear. im also checking out g-force's 17x7.5 up front and 17x8 in the rear or slip streams 17x7.5 front and 17x8 rear.

forgot to mention...im dropped on buddyclub n+...i am willing to roll/pull.

im assuming if i run 8.5 rear ill be on 205 rubbers and 7.5 with 195 in front.

any info will be appreciated!

QUESTION:

what offset would you guys recommend???

d2's
17x7.5 +48,45,35 (front)
17x8.5 +48,45,25,20 (rear)

g-force's
17x7.5 +35,45,48 (front)
17x8 +48 (rear)

slipstreams
17x7.5 +48,45,40 (front)
17x8 +48,40 (rear)

I'd go with 205/45/17 or 195/45/17 tires on 17x7 or 17x7.5 45mm offset all the way around. The Fit is front wheel drive, wider rears would be a purely cosmetic choice and not a performance benefit in any way. 45mm is the recommended offset for the Fit, and the total tire diameter of 205/45/17 would be within 6mm larger than stock (depending slightly on brand). A 195/45/17 would be within 3mm smaller than stock, and might have quicker steering response. Also it would be less likely to rub. I'm not a professional, and I don't know your drop details - but if you are willing to roll or pull your fenders anyway - these 2 choices would be the easiest to handle.
HTH!

first of all, thanks bungle for your useful info. i understand that staggered setup is strictly for looks. btw i made my decision on the rims and it will be d2s in gold. i also know that the recommended offset would be +45 but i would like to know if i can do +25 in the rear. are there any fellow fit member who can help me with this?
