What aftermarket offset would result in stock?

Im looking at getting some 16x7's for my 205/50-16s currently on stock sport rims. I don't wanna offset the rims anymore at least on the front. What would be the right offset to get? I plan on putting some spacers in the rear but I'd like the front to remain the same.

45 is a pretty nice offset.

It won't rub with 205/50's either.

I have 16x7 +45s with 205/50 Conti DWS and it's a great setup.

I too would love to have spacers in the rear, but haven't gone that route yet.

Are offsets wheel specific?
Or 45 would be a good offset independent of wheel brand?

I believe with +45, no matter what wheel--you'll be safe. Some people make it work with 40, but 45 has been FOOL PROOF.

Thanks Ez,

Do you think I should drop down from a 45 twds a 43 if I was gonna put 205's on? To give it extra room?

(GE, wanting 16x7, stock suspension.)

45 is going to give more room than a 43.

I have 16x7 +45's with 205/50/16s. The front is PERFECT as far as flushness. The rear could use a 5mm spacer but I'm ok with it.
