tire question

I am wondering if anyone at stock height running 205/45's tires on 16"-7 +40 rims is experiencing rubbing. I've been looking and there are people that say they rub and ppl that don't. Should I go with 195/45 tires instead? Thanks.

You shouldn't rub with that setup if you're not lowered.

The only rubbing issues I've come across for 205/45x16's are lowered but with 40 mm offset you are on the edge. 42 mm offset is safe.

Im on 205/45/16 with 40mm offset and lowered and I just took a road trip with it. Only experienced rubbing on a handful of times on big bumps. Dont THINK you would have any problems at stock hieght.

Thanks alot guys, I think I'll go with the 205's. As posted above i've also heard that +42 offset was the limit, but I think I'll go with these tires anyway because +40 isn't that far off.
