I Am Freaking Rubbing!

Okay....
I just put on some Rota Slipstreams 16X7 with a 40 offest. The tire is 205/45/16 and i am rubbing on the drivers rear fender when someone is sitting in the back. Pretty badly. I was told by many that they have their car lowered and only occasionally rub with the same setup I have... Any ideas?

also depends on the tire. some summer tires have bold shoulders
and are wider than tires of the same width.

i say definently use smaller tires. i use 195/45/16. if you are even planning on a drop, this is a MUST. I run that tire size with a Tanabe DF210 springs and only rub on hard corners.

Spacers are going to make you rub even harder.

I had Slips in 16X7 with 45 series tires and you will rub with passengers/weight in the rear even if you roll your fenders.

You can prove me wrong...but when I had that setup with weight in the rear...it would rub. The fender will rub/cut into the tire a little with all that weight in the rear. It's just has no where else to go unless you have more cmaber.
