Like it was mentioned before, at that setup its all about what tires you use. I've ridden the same setup with two different tires, one rubbed sometimes and the other never rubbed once even with a full car.
205/45/16 at +38 on a flat summer tire setup with no beefy tread and you'll hear no rubbing. Anything with shallower shoulders.

ive always had falken tires and they have smaller sidewalls. i had a 195/50-15 tire from kuhmo to falken and it was a difference in the sidewall

Question... All of you talking about rubbing on NONE lowered cars. Is it rubbing all the time or once ever 5miles or so?

Honestly, if its barely rubbing suck it up and live with it. The rear will not hurt anything when rubbing. Its the fronts that wear out the fender linings and clips.

do minor cutting in the rear and replace a inner feder clip which is in the front, and itll minimize something. it has been discused.

But, as someone said here, check where your problem is, then youll know what to do.

idk about if it'll fit on the fit, but that tiresize is less wide and less tall overall as compared to a 205 45 16

I agree with this solution, I had bad rubbing problems and going from 205's to 195's made all the difference for me.

dude that's soo wierd! i'm running 16 x 7 konig heliums with a 40 offset wrapped in falken ze-912's in 205/45/16's dropped on tanabe gf210's and i do NOT rub in the back or the front. I can even have 3 passengers in the back for some serious wheel tucking and i still don't rub. I <3 my fit and it's 37mpg! =]

I don't think it's the fenders as much as it is the rear bumper mounting screw. I'm running 17x7 +40 and had to dremmel about 1/4" of it off.

What spacers are you using and where are you putting it? Any pictures? Im thinking of putting spacers in the rear cause I know for a fact they will rub. The wheel and tires on in my sig too. Im not lowered yet but will be soon. As of now I am not rubbing.
