Will the crappy base 175\65\15 Dunlop tires fit on 15x7 rims? I'm thinking it's too skinny. I'm selling my tires to a guy with 15x7 rims. I want to make sure it fits or else I'm screwing him over.
Meaning if it's under heavy load he's going to tear the darn thing off his rims? That would be worth a youtube video.
That's on him for being a tard then, sell em if he wants them.
It's gonna cost him as much to stretch those over 7" rim as it would to mount a proper low-pro, but with the added risk of having your sidewall less than perpendicular and exposed to large rocks and debris that will get caught between the road and the rim...
I have after market deep dish wheels that are 15x7s, I have 195/60 on rn and that fits perfect, but I want to stretch the tires, afraid the 185 won’t stretch enough and the 175 will be too much, also don’t want too much of a small tire so thinking about keeping it at 175/60?

some tires .... stretch better than others. some tires, appear to be taller/meatier than others. example.... when I ran 18x.9.5 wheels, a popular size was 255/35. I was lucky enough to get a free set of tires from BFG and upon research, I learned that their 255s ran more like 265s ... as such ... I opted for 245/35 and they came out exactly as I expected:
