got my new rims but looks like @#%?

i just have my new rims, 7x17 with et 38 205 40 17
at the back the just look awesome but at the front...
the wheel is sticking out , and that looks like shit!
so at the back et 38 is good! but now i'm thinking to put on the front a wheel with et 45.
would that do the trick?
i know some guys have 38 and 45 so mayby they can give me the solution?
my car is a european car (holland) but i dont think that would matter?

sorry for my english,

greetings stefan

since you're willing to go with lower offsets anyway...

why not go with 45 all around... and then put a 5 or 10 mm spacer on the rear.

The only reason I'm chiming in... putting the same size wheel all around means you can continue to rotate the tires like normal.

i choose not to use spacers because the 38 offset at the back is perfect!
at the front it's just popping out and that's not my thing...
but i wondered has anybody a good picture how the 45 offset will look like at the front? i allready search a bit but couldnt find one.

Just imagine your current front wheels right now 7mm tucked in more. If you are under your fender you're cool. Or drop a line down your fender and see what the distance is between the string and the outer most distance to the outside of tire to gauge your distance necessary. I have at +42 offset all around if you want me to see/post.

Work XT-7 17x7 +42 Offset Lowered on Swift Springs. Just put it on so haven't really driven it yet. Will give you a report later if you want.

I think it looks great as long as they don't rub.

Where do you take if off-road at?
