Tire suggestions?

Looking at getting some Motegi Racing MR281's for my Fit.
MOTEGI RACING MR281 Black w/Mach Lip

Overview of stats:
17"x7.5
Offset: 45mm Backspacing: 5.98" Bolt Pattern: 4-100
Rec. Tire Size:205/45-17
Weight: 22.0lbs.

I know they are a bit heavy, but they're 17s so oh well. Anyone have a good suggestion for some all-season tires that wont cost another $400 to put on them?

NTB's website claims these can fit...I might be in love. Any suggestions about these?

Decent 17's under $400, good luck to you. I too am in Illinois and if you need a tire hook up drop me a PM, I can direct you to my car at Discount Tire

www.tires.com

Looking here will atleast give you an idea and then we can see if my guy can help you out, shouldn't be a problem with you being in Illinois too. BTW, Discount Tire is an authorized dealer for Konigs too, so they might be able to do a package deal, don't forget they've got financing as well. IIRC anything over $1k can be same as cash for up to one year, something to that affect.

What size you need? Not that it matters that much, but you coming to the Chicagoland area anytime soon?

Hum... I've been kinda itching to replace the stock Dunlops. I wanted to keep them until I wore them out, but KA, if you can get a good price, maybe I'll jump the gun.

Give Brandon a call at the Orland Park store, here's their number 708-460-7610. Ask for Brandon and tell him Roger sent you and that your with the Fit club Let me/us know if he was able to help you out. Remember, these aren't going to be some Kuhmo's your buying, you get what you pay for but I will say this, they aren't as much as Michelin's, that I can assure you. This tire is Z-speed rated, does EVERYTHNG well, has a smooth sidewall (I like that), has a 540 treadwear number, A temp and traction and rides great, immediate improvement over the stock Dunlops, wasn't even close!
