Worn Tires. Looking to replace with Defenders

My 2015 Honda Fit EX-L tires are worn looking at options.

Michelin Premiers are rated at 100KM but Defender is 145KM and cheaper.

Could i put Defender on my car they only come in 205/55R16 not 185/55R16 like whats on the car.

Thanks

during my research on using a different rim size to get into a more affordable tire that was less likely to develop sidewall bulges if I hit a pothole I came across a website that discussed going wider. the consensus is that if you go with a wider tire, you will have to go with a wider rim, and you risk hitting the wheel well when turning depending on how wide you go, with the wider tire, you get more resistance on the road that reduces mpg. etc.

They make Defenders for the LX 15" steel wheel. It was a great tire when I had them on my Camry
