New to the world of Fit

I just transferred from the world of Scion to the world of Fit. Loved the Box but over time, these lil bastards grew on me. So after the xB took a crap, I pulled the trigger and just bought a 2011.

I have a few questions though....

I have some Axis Racer X rims that I would love to transfer over to the Fit, but I checked a webiste and it said they wont fit. Rims are 15x7 4x100 and tires are Falken ZIEX 195/60/15.

My Scion was dropped on tein basic coilovers and never had any rubbing issues. Can anyone help?

well there is nothing wrong with the width, diameter, bolt-pattern, or your tire size.

What is the offset of these wheels? That would be the determining factor

Offset is +38. That's why I'm confused why the site would say it won't fit.

I want to lower. That is also another concern. The diameter as a whole for the axis wheel/tire is the same as the fit sport rims/tires.

That wheel should work. Depending on what you lower with a fender roll would solve any problems. I run +40 with roll, and have no issues.

Welcome to the Fit world. Please dont go back

just wait till Occam sees this thread!
why would you go from a 16" wheel to a 15" wheel unless you're doing it for MPG reasons (i bet the fit gets better out of the box than the XB)
the +38 might rub depending how low you go (i believe the 2011 fit likes +42)
just try them out! if they give you trouble trade/sell them and get better ones

Oh yes! I was very into the "Scion" scene for a bit. Almost bought another one, until I woke up from my nightmare lol!

On the subject of rim size though....I really like the style of rim I have. And if I can keep em I'm gonna. There's a brand new set of Falkens on those boys and I wanna get my moneys worth lol
