wheel/tire dilemna

Ok, had my fit a while, got some 16s with some +40 offset dr-16 rims then rub in the back with people. So either i get some 55 offset rims with my 16s (like the oem honda ones from benardi/college) or do 15s with my oems.

What i wanted was looks before but now i want ride quality lol what a waste of money but thats what we do.

Do they make rotas with the 55 or close to it offset in 15s? im feeling 15s now.

well first of all you gotta give us the exact specs of the rims and tires.

Rim size 16"- Check
Offset +40- Check
Width - ??

Specs of tires too! Your problem could be just because of tire size.

To answer your question about the 55 offset, as far as i know nobody does. The closest i've seen with aftermarket wheels offset is +45. Most of my wheels were +40 offset as a 15" rim size and a width of 6.5 and I've NEVER rubbed with people in the back. My tire size on most of my wheels were 195/50/15.

just dont let any one ride in the back problem solved and it FREE! If that's not a option there are other options that are probable cheaper then new rims and tires. like Fitvic said it could be as simple as change tire size. n You could also look into getting the rear lip on the fenders roll, Im positive that is what ou rubbing on so roll that and problem solved.

I'm running 15x6.5 +38 with 195/55/16 and no rubbing even with a 300lb fat man in the back seat. How is it that you're rubbing?

16x7, 40 et, 205/45's here...

the rear tabs that hold the bumper onto the quarterpanel needed a bit of trimming... easy fix...
