Wheel offset
Anyone here knows the original offset of Honda Fit/Jazz GE8 stock rim? Yesterday wanna change to Volk CE28 15", offset 35 x 7jj, but the caliper hits the spokes. which rim offset should i looking for if i wanna use these size of tyre?
1. 205/50/R16, or
2. 195/55/R15

Stock is +53 and most go with +45 minimum to avoid rubbing with those tire sizes.
This is not set in stone though because after researching this to death, plenty of people have lower offsets and combos that have no problems.

The problem isn't the offset. It's the actual spoke design.
Most wheels have arched spokes, which is independent of offset. The T1R might clear, but it isn't because of the rotor size... but most likely due to the fact that it is narrower than stock. Measure how far forward, from the rotor surface it sticks up.

currently i am using lenso samurai sc01 with tire size 195/50/R15. thinking to change to 205/50/R16 40et. but tire will hit mudflap. need to get wheel with offset > 43. just now found Work Emotion CR-KAI 16" 44et. but i prefer 15" wheel rather than 16" wheel.

First, caliper clearance is not a real function of offset though 35 mm is way too low. If you come across a 45 to 52 mm offset wheel that barely contacts the caliper' consider ising a 6mm, or 1/4"., spacer between the hub and wheel. If that won't do it you need another wheel.
