So I can just remove them from my stock wheels and throw them into my next set and they will work? Planning on putting some old BMW bottle caps onto my fit. Thanks.

Nope. Light will come on because they wont register the PSI they are calibrated to detect.

New wheels TPMS sensors will need to be re-calibrated to them. Confirm they will fit the rims your considering.
