Question regarding offset and fitment?

Hey guys. My 2011 GE8 is dropped on Eibach Sportlines and i've been digging the XXR 522's (Concaved Supremacy). I was looking at either the 16x7 or 16x8 but i noticed the offset ranges from 0 up to +25. Will this fit without any modifications to my fenders? I don't mind rolling my fenders though. I'm just wondering if it will even fit and what size tires would be good. I'm still running the sport rims with stock Dunlop tires.

your thoughts? if it wouldn't fit, are there any other rims that have a similiar spoke design?

if it's around +25 you would be good, it's if you were to go lower than around +20 then you'd start getting into trouble

actually with the Fit i think you might rub if you're under +30, so you might not be able to run a +25 with 16" wheels....maybe (just maybe) if you got like a 195/50/16 you'd be cutting it reeeally close. IMO, stay with a wheel that's +30 to +40

as for sizing, i'd go with a 16x6.5, i know people run into problems with running 16x7 and lowering their car. If you plan on keeping your car at stock height then it would be less of a problem

what size tires should i get? i want to keep the wheel gap to the minimum. option two would be
17x7 +30 or +35
or
17x8 +30 or +35

again, idk what size tires i would need with the 17's but i want to keep my ride height the same if not lower since i dont have coilovers to adjust my height.

am i making sense? reply pleeeeeeease

just read on another post someone is running 16x8 +25 offset lowered on eibach and has no rubbing(fenders not pulled), but he has camber bolts maxed all the way and is using stock 185/55 tires. that might help you a little

if you're lowering your car then you wanna adjust your tire size according to your drop. If you're not lowering it just yet and have OEM ride height then go with 17x8 with a 205/50/17 or 205/45/17 and go with anything above +25 offset. If you lower your car, just adjust your tire size accordingly.

17x7 +30 is perfect. 17x8 +30 is OK. I had 17x7.5 +40. No rubs, nocamber bolts. It was sitting pretty flush right above the tire and fender. My tire size were 205/40/17 had a small stretch. I think all the wheel specs you mentioned should be fine without pulled/rolled fenders and/or maybe without camber bolts too. Just make sure your tire size are small. 16x8 recommended 195/50 or /45. 17x7 or x8 recommended 205/40 or /45. Don't sweat it. Its easier than you think.

Ugliest wheels the world's ever seen. As an added bonus, they're of terribly low quality.

Without being mega dumped the car will look straight stupid.

Being low, you'll need to roll your fenders, and ruin the resale in doing so.

there's a lot uglier wheels than the 552, take stock CRX wheels for instance...and XXR isn't "low" quality, they're great wheels for someone on a budget, i've been racing with XXR/Rota/Drag for years and have yet to have a problem. And last, you won't need to roll your fenders with anything over +30 when you're at STOCK height, around +25 is where you start running into trouble, but you'll have to roll fenders once you lower on 17's.

Thanks Liverpool. I think I'll just get the 16x8 and use my stock tires. I'll just transfer the tires over at school or something. I have the eibach camber bolts sitting in my garage waiting to be used and I guess I have the opportunity now. Thanks to everyone. You guys were a great help. If anything comes up, I'll just post it up over here or something.

As for mike, we just have different preferences. To each their own.
