Those wheels look awesome. You should weigh both the mugen wheel and the factory wheel and post the weights up. Don't forget the wheel locks.

Hello ampete04

Will do that today, and finish with the question if its true or not those wheels are heaviest than the stock wheels.

However we need to consider the wheel + tire

The lug nuts will be the same for any kind of wheel you'll use in your car so, i consider the lug nuts as a part of the disk brake assembly.

Regards,
Luis

Very Cool Luis. I looked up the weight of the stock Dunlop SP Sport 7000 A/S tires and Tirerack says "18 lbs" (8.16466 kg) per wheel and Walmart says "17.9 lbs" (8.119303 kg) per wheel. Very interested in your findings.

Ok guys, the weight of the Mugen XJ 16" for a Honda Fit is 8Kg ~ 17.64lb
(I'm talking about Wheel + center cap, still no tire installed)

Hope this helps

The stock wheel weight for the 16" sport wheels is 16lbs or so just wheels and the 15" steelies weight 15lbs a piece. If reducing weight was your goal kosei k4rs or the enkei rpf1s would be more worth your while. The mugens do look cool though!

I'll post pictures here when installed....

I was thinking in a $900 set of tires but I get these set in SALE for $389 (Canadian Tire)
