oil catch can catch 22?
just got my oil catch can , nicely built unit , has an internal baffle tray and filtered inlet , and it's own little dipstick , the snafu being , it's winter and the included paperwork recommends not
using it when the temperature is below freezing . the moisture buildup in colder temps can cause the lines to freeze up . catch 22 ?

Mostly since fuel has a much lower freeze point than water.
So as long as you are running you engine up to proper operating temp to burn off the water in the crankcase, you'll be fine.
It's that pesky fuel in the crankcase that poses long term issues!
