Short Shifter

Wondering if anyone knows of a company making a short shifter for the 6-speed GK yet? Tried doing some outside research but was not able to find anything for this generation. Any help is appreciated

I was curious about this myself... I briefly skimmed J's Racing and Mugen's site while at work the other day and haven't found anything as of yet regarding a short shifter.

I should write to TWM to try to persuade them to make one. I had one on my last car and really loved it. In fact, of all the many mods that were on it, this is the one I liked the most.
The shifter feel is pretty good as it is though.

I had asked TWM about making one for us a few months back and they had no plans on it and wouldn't really entertain the idea. Hopefully you have better luck with them. Had their short shifter on a Scion xA and loved it.

Maybe I should write to them. What they make is pure gold. Expensive but probably better than anything out there. I had a Toyota Echo hatch and while it was modded with several quality performance parts (AEM, DC Sports, Perrin, Borla), the swap that impressed me the most was the short shifter and bushings. It really made a big difference in daily driving.

Perhaps they don't want to make one because they couldn't improve much on the original design ? It's quite good as it is. The shaft is already low so I don't think it could be improved on that aspect but I feel the shift throws themselves could be shorter and made even more precise with their steel bushings.
