Just wanted to let you know we test fitted the mount and have about 3000 miles on it and love it, better shifting, solid feel, less wheel hop and the steering feels even more solid.

Less wheel hop? As in, from a deadstop, getting wheel hop and this lessens it?

 

Before I realized Axion sold this part, I ordered the Laile Beatrush equivalent from Japan. I therefore cannot comment directly on the Hasport rear mount, but I can confirm everything Axion claims about this part is accurate in terms of the intended performance benefits.

Beatrush calls their part a "roll stopper" and I'd say that's a pretty decent alternative to "rear mount" but they're the same thing. Beatrush offers their part with one level of hardness for the urethane which is 90. Hasport offers theirs in varying levels of hardness (up to 90).

I've grown accustom to the added NVH and its really only apparent when accelerating from a stop. All in all, the ride definitely feels more stable, throttle response and shifting feel are probably the areas most improved.

 

This is sweet! Need to grab this soon. Great to see more parts trickle out for the chassis.

 

It really does work nice, a great overall addition to the car

My fit barely put out enough torque with the stock wheel to wheel hop. Dont think i need this yet.

 

Hi, which engine is in the vehicle? Is it the L15Z1/2 or L15A/A7?

Think US market is the L15B, most of us here seem to be in the US.

Can anyone comment on how much vibration this transmits to the chassis?

Had an energy suspension front motor mount insert in my civic and hated it, never seemed to soften up and the vibration at idle and stops was obnoxious.

 

U70a vibrates at idle andat 1st-2nd gear engagement... i got used to it because #racecar lol. I have a feeling my durometer mount may be similar to your experience with the bushing insert. U may want to settle with the lightest one as i heard is very minimal vibration after initial break in (3weeks) hope this helps

Looking to do a bit of an OEM+/touge build with my GK.

Want to maintain a reasonably comfortable ride while having the ability to be fun in the corners, so from what I've heard it might be worth it to at least give the 62 a shot.

 

Just put one in today, got the U70 version. Not sure if I like it yet, the increase in NVH is more than I thought it would be and the improvement in shifter feeling is less than I thought it would be. I don't want to say it's a bad product, it does what it's supposed to do, but in terms of performance/dollar I'm happier with the RV6 downpipe and the rear sway bar.

We'll see if I can get used to it.

 

After two weeks, I've decided I can accept the increased noise, and found that it can be minimized by more aggressive clutch engagement. That's not a bad workaround, since if you want one of these for more direct throttle response and such, you probably want to start more aggressively anyways.

Guys, just wondering can this mount (product code GERR) also be used on auto transmission honda fit?
