That’s gawgeous

I think that qualifies as engine porn. I’d buy a clear plexiglas hood so I could look at it all day. Just...wow

Whats up with the hp numbers though? Is that a Dyno from a souped 1.5t or something? 173 to 194?!! The Fit would be a rocket ship with 200hp... Itd be the si killer! (Or am I dumb, and those aren’t hp at the wheels numbers but something else entirely, related to the manifold)

All of them dyno from 1.5NA,The NA L15b engine has the potential to get the power. It is flywheel hp that i posted,The number divided 1.15 is the wheel hp.

I just cant see myself spending over 1,000 on an intake for the 1.8 that still wont make over 200hp.. I'm just gonna sit here and continue to save for my Kswap

all you have to do is add a turbo charger. ;-)

not without swapping the internals. If you slap an ebay spooly boi on stock internals you'll send a piston into the atmosphere at 5psi

GREAT CHOICE!!! ...if you aren't racing in a class with a displacement cap.

Great choice... if you're in the land of cheap k-series engines and transmissions....or building a streetcar in a land where swaps are legal.

We are in neither. 1600cc displacement limit racing means that we are better off staying with this engine and finding ways to remove the bottlenecks that are built in.

Will you be able to make an intake manifold for the CVT/automatic transmission folks? The CVT will make much better use of the horsepower gains up at top. Especially if the engine tune could utilize the extra rpms and stay still at 7200-7500rpm. That would be ideal.

I would have been interested in sending your company a stock intake manifold to modify for CVT use, if I still had a Fit.
