Anyone know what q-clips fit on the 3gen fits?

 

Bump. Really can't find info on this.

 

Yakima rolled out a new style of base clips around 2015/2016, so the ones that will work with the GK are the Base Line 156 and 165 clips. The Q99 Q-clips work on the GE, but I do not know if they would also work on the GK.

 

Ive made the Q's from GE work on GK, but becuz i purchased the rocket box, needed to make sure i had the correct mounts, so went with the newer baseline clips set..

 

Did you have to modify the clips to make them work with the GK?

 

I want to find the q tower clips cause I already have a set, just not the clips but if nothing will work then...

 

Wouldn't it be safer to have the proper system designed for the car instead of jury rigging one? Having said that I'm happy with my Yakima setup.

 

Looks like the q99 clips work with the 2015+ fit.

I know you posted this a while ago. What measurements did you follow to install it? I'm having the same issue. I have the clips and the towers and it says it will fit but I just don't know the measurements. Thanks
