Adding fog lights to LX

Has anyone started researching on what it would take to add the EX foglights to an LX?

Bump. I'm curious too, although its a bit farther down on my accessories list. If I see something promising I'll be posting about it.

On the 09 model Fits...It was pricey. Might want to consider after market ones.

Am wanting to do the foglight install to be like what JapanTragic has on his JDM GK RS. Checked out some of the pricing in Japan and the OEM basic components already add up to more than $800 (fog light, OEM LED lights, Plastic base). That doesn't include the necessary bracket, wiring harness, OEM switch and shipping.

Too rich for my blood at this point. Will patiently wait for other alternatives.

Take time to look at the LX front. Its pretty good foglightless too.

Are the OEM lights all that good? You might be better off with an aftermarket solution.

Unless, of course, you just want the lights for the "cool factor."

This issue was one of my considerations to purchase the EX. While I never did see an option add-on for Honda Fit fog lights, on my 2014 Mazda CX-5, it would have been over $400.00 for a dealer add-on had I not purchased the Touring model (fog lights included).

One thing I noticed is that the fog lights for the ex the switch is a cylinder on the blinker/light/lanewatch lever. Would probably need a switch placed in one of the blank spots next to the traction control button.

On another not the regular headlights are great! Really bright and illuminate everything well. And the high beams are like the dayman a champion of the sun(ahhhhuuhahhh). They are bright!

Most likely don't really need them. But they're nice.

I am planning a fog light/spot light LED bar as we do regular trips into the country and need a good range and spread of light to spot kangaroos in time to react to them. Looking forward to seeing some installation how to's.

Wow! Have you installed them yet? Did it go well? The kit looks complete and very nice, and cheap, too!

Exclamation Cross Post

Sorry all! I tried to reference a thread I started re: LX fog lights. I messed it up. It is posted under "Anyone installed: Kramer Accessories OEM Fog Lts." in this forum. To recap I have received the fog light kit and just ordered the LED daylight running lights/turn-signals. You can find all the links in my posting.

As soon as it warms up a bit I'm going to have at it. Hope this is helpful.

That sucks, You should post back to Amazon to let others know they don't fit or contact the supplier ...

There is a generic wiring diagram in this thread:

This is what I can't figure out. I saw the generic wiring diagram but can't really figure out that white connector

You might also try this....

The fog lights sold on Amazon are from Kramer America, also known as Maxliner USA:

About Us

I would contact them and make sure your lights didn't ship with the wrong insert for the bumper....
